OUR ROASTED MAKHANA WITH DRY FRUITS RECIPE INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Cups Makhana (Fox Nuts)
  • 8–10 Almonds (Chopped)
  • 5–6 Cashews (Chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Pumpkin Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Flaxseeds
  • 1 tsp Ghee
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder (Optional)
  • Rock Salt to Taste
  • Curry Leaves (Optional)

PREPARATION

1. Heat Ghee

Heat one teaspoon of ghee in a non-stick pan over medium flame.

2. Roast Dry Fruits

Lightly roast almonds, cashews, pumpkin seeds, and flaxseeds until aromatic.

3. Roast Makhana

Add makhana and roast for 6–8 minutes until crisp.

4. Season

Sprinkle black pepper, turmeric, and rock salt. Toss well to coat evenly.

5. Serve

  • 1 Cup Mixed Sprouts (Moong & Chana)
  • 1 Small Onion (Finely Chopped)
  • 1 Small Tomato (Finely Chopped)
  • 1 Small Cucumber (Finely Chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Coriander (Chopped)
  • 1 Green Chilli (Finely Chopped)
  • ½ tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • Rock Salt to Taste
  • Chaat Masala (Optional)

PREPARATION

1. Prepare the Sprouts

Steam or lightly boil the sprouts for 5–7 minutes until tender but still crunchy.

2. Chop the Vegetables

Finely chop onion, tomato, cucumber, coriander, and green chilli.

3. Mix Everything

Combine sprouts with the chopped vegetables in a large bowl.

4. Season

Add roasted cumin powder, black pepper, rock salt, lemon juice, and chaat masala. Mix gently.
